2024 BOOMTOWN LIGHT RED - SYRAH | MERLOT

Our house light red…or chilled red if the weather demands it! All estate fruit from Metcalfe vineyards, picked a little early and handled gently to hold fruit and lift flavour.

A blend of Syrah and Merlot sourced from the valley vineyards. The farming here is organic, without certification and the wine is made mostly as a sort of riper rose, with about a quarter of the ferment added as skins to extract a little tannin and build presence and form. But it’s most about fruit here. And absurd value
